For this student project a special emphasis was put on safety and monitoring. Our concierge is present daily and ensures the proper functioning of the student complex. The concierge is the go-to person for any information or assistance the students may require. The concierge is responsible for the tidiness and cleanliness of the building and makes sure that the kitchens are always available in proper condition.

In addition to the concierge, the student complex is also equipped with a camera surveillance system in the hallways, kitchens and bicycle storage area. These measures were taken to ensure the sense of security experienced by the residents.

Lastly, the building was also assigned the green label of quality and safety for student rooms by the city of Antwerp. This guarantees that the rooms conform to the legal standards of comfort provision and fire prevention.
